1 Drive your car to a nearest Shamil Vehicle Testing Centre(click here)

2 Complete the process of registration, insurance and paying any fines you may have in one place.

3 Receive an endorsed registration card as soon as the car passes its test.

   

Enjoy your visit

The whole process should take just 20 minutes after your vehicle has reached the test bay. You can even relax with a coffee and a doughnut at the Emarat convenience store while you wait.

Service costs

Dubai Centers: 

Registration/Renewal test charges AED 140

Retest of failed vehicles charges AED 35

Third attempt of failed vehicles will be treated as new Test and charges are AED 140

Northern Emirates Centers: 

Registration/Renewal test charges are AED 60

Retest of failed vehicles is free for 15 days from the date of testing, afterwards charges will be AED 20 for the following 15 days

Third attempt of failed vehicles will be treated as new Test and charges are AED 60

Test certificates are valid for 1 month from the date of issuance 

ESMA "Emirates Standardization and Metrology Authority" AED 330 for imported used vehicles (GCC Standards). 

We also operate a VIP service where we will collect your vehicle from your home or workplace, drive it to the Shamil Vehicle Testing Center, test and register the car, and return it to you, this service costs just AED 200.
